COMMERCIAL FRIDGES & FREEZERS UNITS FOR THE KITCHENS

Our kitchen is currently in need of updated refrigerators and freezers for our students. Since our students share a communal refrigerator to hold their groceries or any meals, these refrigerators will directly serve our students and our local cooking staff. Our students frequently serve one another by making dinners for their community groups, serving meals in the kitchen with the staff, and by learning culture and language from our kitchen/cooking staff who live local to the area.

COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY UNITS FOR STAFF HOUSING

At Radius, we have staff members who live on campus with their families to cultivate life-on-life discipleship with the students. With that, we would like to provide washer and dryer units for our staff housing. We are looking to invest in commercial units for more durable and long-lasting laundry units that will be worth its value long-term.

PATIO FURNISHINGS

For this project we are looking to upgrade, replace, and add more patio furnishings to our campus. Our campus patio areas are notably used for students to have their quiet time, to study between classes and language learning, and as meeting places for staff to mentor students. We are constantly striving to create a more hospitable campus as this is our students’ home for 10 months and where they will encourage one another for the task before them and potentially find their teammates for the field. The funds will go toward furniture, tables, grills, umbrellas, and décor that will continue facilitating personal and communal growth between our students and staff.

WATER HEATERS FOR STAFF HOUSING

For our on-campus staff and their families we would like to buy tankless water heaters, which is something they have not had in the past. Tankless water heaters are known to save energy, meaning lower energy costs, than water heaters with tanks. While this is an expense on the front-end, it is an investment in the long run as this will enable Radius to save on utility costs within the units.
